Susan is an Upholster III who joined Furnishings and Design in 2007, and she has over twenty-five years of professional experience. She grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL and earned her knowledge of upholstery through her family members. Prior to joining UA, she worked in her family’s upholstery shop providing various services related to refurbishment of furniture.

She enjoys being a key member of the upholstery team. She aids the Manager of Business Processes with estimates and assists the other team members with her extensive expertise in the field. One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is taking an outdated piece and giving it a new life. She loves to help contribute in keeping our campus facilities looking attractive.
