Laura is an Interior Designer II who joined Furnishings and Design in 2017, and she has over fifteen years of professional design experience. She grew up in Brentwood, TN and earned her BS in Human Environmental Sciences/Interior Design from the University of Alabama. Prior to joining UA, she worked in sales and design for a furniture dealership with commercial and education clients.

She enjoys creating functional spaces where staff can be productive and meet their personal goals. One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is meeting with clients to assess their needs. She loves to be able to create a space that fulfills the vision desired while meeting all of the ergonomic, creative, and accessibility functions.
